Island Wedding by Chris_S

Bare Island, La Perouse, Sydney Australia

I saw a wedding party heading off for a photo shoot at the island. I managed to grab this photo from the hill opposite just as they were about to start walking across the bridge. Both the colour and B&W version of this looked good, but I thought I would go for something different with the Hayes Island Cafe effect.

Thanks for your comments. Here is a link to the B&W imagehttp://www.aussiefalcon.fordforums.com/galery3/Sydney/slides/DSC02102-bw.html I think it looks a little flat compared to the above much more colourful 'HIC' version. I don't have a copy of the original colour version online, but can arrange it if you wish.

Chris_S, I really like this photograph. It represents a very unusual physical path coupled with a familiar chosen life path. Very well composed with nice lighting and color. The effect is lovely too, but I'm very curious how the other photos look. Is there some way you could place links in your caption so we can see these? If those photos are on a web site, I could help if you don't know how to do this. Nice photo. MFC
