Guarding the path * by Hewy by Sony Forums Challenges

This road leads to the village where I live. The trees to me seem like guard standing along side the road. Used a polariser to enhance the clouds.

Interesting shot, I lioke it very much. One thing I may have done is clone out that electric box, it is a bit distracting. This is a minor (and probably un-asked-for) nit. Regards

i like this image, reminds me of similar allees i've seen in my travels. fond memories. i also agree with mark on his editing comments.

I like this too, Hewy. I like how you enhanced the clouds with the polarizer...I think it really adds to the overall composition and visual impact. Nice perspective. You titled it well too...there's a good sense of the trees as "guardians". (*) I'd probably be inclined to clone out the light post and gray box; otherwise, I really like it as is. MFC

This is a great line of trees / path, Hewy. Since you asked (*) I might crop out the tree on the far left... it seems out of place in the symetry of things. Then, depending on how far you want to go in tweaking the image, I would clone out what looks like a light post to the left side of the first tree on the left in the line of trees. Mark J
