Ann: I believe that the height of grace for a human is the beautiful music they produce. I'm currently reading Kahlil Gibran's 'Spirits Rebellious' which is having an affect on my prose and my art. ... MFC: Those are bubbles. The photo is a multi-layered shot of a glass candle holder (gadzillion little bubbles of air) bought from a glass blower/artist I visit on the south-east coast whenever I visit that area. The zoom filter does soften/blur the image considerably and I weighed whether to include that or not but the final feeling convinced me to stay with it. I also like the symbolism here (circle:female,rectangle:male) to portray the moment of conception. It works for me. - Simon Bennett
I like this Simon, a unique approach to the topic and a beautiful image. I love the line about gracefully aging through music. As a life-long singer (over 40 years of singing in choirs) that says it so very well. Music helps one age gracefully and be whole while they do it. Ann C
