King's Cross-Sydney Australia

Sydney, Australia

I was in Sydney Australia last week on a business trip and had a few moments to wander about the city.

This was shot in the city's "red light district" known as King's Cross.

I think this is a very strong photo, though it's less a portrait than a social commentary. And FWIW, I think it absolutely belongs in a Challenge, though perhaps not this one. But that's the author's call, and I for one appreciate seeing it here.

Who deemed you the "appropriate police?"
Portraits don't have to be flattering, soft focus and smiling.
Photography is about how each of us sees the world. Your post is out of line and an apology is in order.

What's with the bra ad? I don't think this is appropriate for the challenge.

Interesting idea here. I think this would have been a good one for photojournalism too. Sarah
