Joe, I like the comp & subdued lighting...and the implied benefits of milk. MFC

Joe, you did a nice job on this. For me, I like images that use what I call the Alfred Hitchcock approach: you KNOW what's happening... you don't need to see it. In most of his movies, the murder scenes do not show anyone actually ever seen complete the act of the violence... the viewers imagination fills in the blanks just as well :-) I like your alternative view and composition very much. I was thinking maybe just a tad more of the baby's lower back showing would be a tweak for the image but, that's about all I can think of. Nice lighting also. Mark J

What a sweet image, Joe. Obviously a much-loved baby. Great ad - Bev

I agree the chubby, relaxed legs show a healthy, happy breastfed baby - this is a beautiful image for the message.

Thanks for your comments, Arn. I actually do have pictures from different perspectives where feeding is more obvious or prominent, but I'm kind of partial to the unusual perspective of this photo and how it displays the chubby legs that (as I hope the ad implies) has benefitted from breastfeeding. And, although I have no problems with seeing a woman breastfeed, I have noticed others (here in America)who are less comfortable seeing women breastfeed in public. Perhaps one of those other photos will make it into another challenge. :) Joe

The second line of text makes the ad clearer, yes. The font and color of text work well with the image. I'd like to see some of the baby's head / face, though - for the the actual process of feeding to be more apparent. Would that make the pic too bold...? Might be hard to leave intimate parts off... [We may have a little more relaxed attitude on this in Finland :] -Arn-

Joe, that first comment was from me. Sorry about that-- you guys really do need to ban me from typing anything in the middle of the night. --Nancy (JoseNoway)

A pretty image, Joe. Give a kiss for me to the baby.

Willem, thanks for your helpful observations. In light of them, I've added the second line of text to make the ad explicitly one for breastfeeding. JoeSchmoe

Very healthy and nutricious milk by the looks of it. Can be an add to promote breastfeeding. Willem

I appreciate the kind comment on this image and the helpful comment on the other (posted in STF). Wondering who . . . Joe

Very nice, Joe. An OT comment here: this is how I wanted to see you crop that other image of your wife (?) holding the baby; the one where you focused on the baby's hand. The close cropping really strengthens the imagery, doesn't it?
