Movie Poster

by cUrVe

i know this entry exceeds the word limit but this shot is in memory of phoebe, a camera that tragically drowned while on an underwater photography assignment with sarahD, who is (was) the proud owner. phoebe may be slated to become an organ (parts) donor so that other 707's may continue to live long and fulfilling lives... this photo was taken using phoebe for challenge no. 6-self portraits... after posting a couple of full faced self-portraits while everyone else posted self-portraits hidden by shadows etc., sarah openly challenged us stf'ers at the time to show our faces... however, once my entries were posted i think she immediately regretted making that statement...

Nice movie poster...nice color choice and text...the grain makes it even more effective. Nice one. MFC

Very cool cUrVe. Looks like a young Marlin Brando. :) Ann C

The choise of colors and the grain give this poster a nice film noir feeling. I'm not sure if I'd go see this movie, though. I like Nicholson, but I HATE Travolta... :P -Arn-

Fantastic -- I love the shot itself, but you created a perfect poster here.

Nancy: that's because cUrVeball over here, lives an upper and lower case life. They say it's his creative side fighting his boring side. LOL As for the movie poster: gives me the feeling I get when I see one of those OLD Sci-Fi movie posters... effective. Mark J

Looks like a real movie poster, except I read "John Travolta" as "John Ravolta." heh... --Nancy

That is one scary gangster movie. Certainly does convey the message. And I am not picky about the exact number of words, as long as it limited and the message is from the image. Willem
