1st Place Winner
At the speed of light
by Willem

The new metro in Copenhagen has no driver and the front and back have large accessible windows.
This is a 1 second exposure (F2.1) , with the camera against the glass, lenshood folded to shield
away other reflections and the tripod used as monopod (extended and tilted, but not folded open).

The image makes me think about Einstein and the question what will happen if you start to approach the speed of light.

Hi Willem.

I took this image!!

I might have taken it after you, but my image is your image and your image is my image.

I chose to crop mine, but it´s almost the exact same photo. Mine were taken between Forum and Nørreport I believe.

I´ve posted it in various places on the net, and one reader made me aware of your photo.

How very odd.

See my cropped and colorized photo here:

So I just think this is a great photo! :-)

Thanks all for your positive comments. And Mark : I had not thought about rotating the image, but it is a very good idea. I am going to try and see how it works out. Thanks. Willem
