"Points of Light"
Charles Lloyd

Galveston, TX

A horticultural park in Galveston, Texas. Taken last Christmas, hence the lights on the right side. As a side note, this bay is some of the deepest water in the region as it was dregded out in the early 1900's to provide earth to raise the level of Galveston six feet or so to prevent flooding. This was in response to the storm of 1900 in which 6000+ people died, the worst natural disaster in US history. See The 1900 Storm for more.

Beautiful image. I like the reflections of light off the water and the clarity of the image. Thank you for the fascinating information also. Mark J
