Neighborhood Heroes
by LindyLoo

We had a fire in the neighborhood today. Sirens started blaring, and we rushed out
the front door just in time to see the firemen rushing to the scene. It's good to
know our neighborhood heroes are just around the corner when we need them.

Thanks, everyone!!! :-) When my son heard the sirens and hollered for all of us to run outside, I just happened to have my camera on me. I feel fortunate to have captured this shot.

Cindy, I'm glad you had a nice trip down memory lane! Isn't it funny the things that wax nostalgic for us? I feel the same way when I look at kudbegud's Hawaii shots.

Hi Linda,

Very nice colors! You have a very inviting street. Beautiful landscaping! Nice job. Jim/shutter

LindyLoo all 3 of your pictures are very nostalgic for me because I grew up in Ventura County - Camarillo/Somis area and spent a lot of time at my Grandparents house in Ojai and later Ventura. The house, the icecream vendor, the fire truck pic . . . all look like my childhood! So different than where I live now - just see SarahD's pics lol. CindyD

Ooops... Sorry for the misspelling. My step-daughter is Lynda and we call her Lyndie...

Great shot Lyndie. The boy in the forground really makes the photo. Ann

Great shot. Love the composition and colors. Lots in this picture and well framed (cropped). Thanks, Jasper
