Bump Image .02

For art inspiration I had to go Gent, Belgium (about 80km from where I live). The tallest structure is the Saint Bavo's Cathedral built in 1500 where you can find the 'Mystic Lamb' painting and other 400 yo master pieces of the Van Eyck brothers. The sculpture in the middle is I think dedicated to them (cant say much about it). The plants below were not there last winter and normally they're the least that u should photograph when u go to this FANTASTIC city. :-)

Great shot, I agree with the others that the composition is very good (the diagonal "split" of the image and the layered effect). The (e)motion of the figures in the statue seem follow the lines in your image. Just one remark: it's a pity you cut the top of the church tower off... Still a very powerfull image, I love it. Hewy.

Hi Lisa, Nope. I was looking for odd plants to photograph but didnt find any. After some friends posing there I thought i can also use the grass. I actually dont like the "layered" look coz ppol might think its a PSed photo. :-[

EmnmE, I agree...the interesting perspective "layers" set at a diagonal to the clear sky makes for a very dramatic image to look at. Nice idea and well done. MFC
