I bought some tulips at Wal-Mart a while back and took some neat pictures. Then they died. I dunno. But I really like this shot.

Beautiful colors and design elements, JaimeZX...I think this is effective either "soft" or "sharp". As it is, it might feel a little more abstract to me. I like it. MFC

don't you just love sunlight, Jaime? The colors are beautiful... even the thumbnail is a very striking image.

JaimeZX, the flower is very beautiful and you composed the flower in the frame nicely. I have ALWAYS had a hard time with tulips photographed in this position... I'm not completely pleased with any of my own attempts. An increase in DOF and a tripod to stay clear of any handshake movement at this close range is really important... now if only I took that advice when I did mine? lol Mark J
