Our Neighborhood

Our neighbor has clamatis flowers draping all over his fence. This is just a small section of the flowers that are now in perfect bloom, mostly open but none past their prime and some still in bud.

I love this image. So much so that I was sure I had commented on it before. It creates a mood of a country cottage or a wedding. I agree it is perfect for a greeting card or art print! Lisafx

Wonderfull, the delicate bright flowers against the rough dark wooden background together make an interesting image. Love the composition, good choice of framing too.. Hewy

I really, really like this picture. It has sort of a "Taoist landscape painting" feel to it. Very nice composition... it also reminded me of a Photoshop tutorial I read a while back using the luminosity mask. I hope you don't mind that I played around with this image in Photoshop for a while... here's the result:
