Here's the small print. The kids emptied this pothole for the first time ever. Tris, of course had to get in it, which he did just as the dam they built to hold back the water broke, hence his distress. Moments later I hauled him out. BTW this is the same spot, Cold River, as the snowy entry I have on page one....different seasons, different stuff.
