Each day as I work on my photography, Joan, my wonderful wife is sitting in another corner of our room writing. She writes mystery/romance novels. These involve passion of the romantic and obviously violent kind. On more than one occasion she has commented that this image or that would make a good photo for a dust cover for a book. So given the theme, I decided to experiment in a different direction.....water as blood. I've even suggested it as a title for her next novel ;-) Getting the composition right for my eye was a challenge.
