Nice commentary, Ann. Howard, I love the dramatic color punch here...the drops add even more interest to the drama. This image really catches my eye and has the potential to be a "great"(*) one, IMO. MFC
I love the bright yellow and the drops. I have a couple of suggestions for improvement (*). The highlights in the drops are burned out so you might try under-exposing a bit next time. Also the out of focus petal in the front detracts from the beauty of the in focus drops. You might try using the manual setting of your camera at a higher f stop to create a deeper depth of field. A tripod would help you make longer exposures.
