Not a very well balanced relationship

Well... really not balanced at all... these farmer ants go up this beautiful tree and take away the leaves and give nothing in return. Not a good example to follow if you want a long lived relationship.

Carlos, I especially like that this ant is walking off with "the goods" despite the obvious attempt this tree has made to arm itself with spikes for protection. This is a truely great relationship photo. Good seeing and a great capture!! -Jeff

Carlos, this is a great perspective, it truly reminds me of "Ants" or "A Bug's Life". A sort of animated look to it. Nice. jim/shutter
