Interesting problem. I'd like to see it from a slightly more oblique angle with the area immediately above or on the target in sharp focus, or maybe a slightly less powerful macro lens. Not an easy shot, any way you try it. Thanks for the tech info. Erichocinc.

This was done with a Sony F707. Filters: +3macro, UV & linear polarizer.
Zoom backed out, focus on .03, tallest arrow nock about 2mm away from the camera lense.
Settings: f8/+1ev/8". Picked from 39 attempts. Originally 5mp, cropped, resized for web.

I like the idea very much specially with thse colors. I would be curious to see a shot closer to the target with the tips in it.
