Thanks all. That's my daughter jumping. Her years of gymnastics evident in the nice form. I love Bryce too...it's so magical there. I kept asking myself if this place was real! The colors are so rich off the canyon walls and the interplay of light is facinating. Thanks again. Mark

Mark, I love Bryce canyon...wonderful positioning on the silhouette capture...good contrast with the surrounds. Who was leaping? MFC

Mark, very dramatic, on several levels--the wild beauty of scenery, the high contrast of dark and light, and the dramatic leap. As Bev says, a lot of emotion in it. On my monitor the dark vertical silhoutte at left is not pure black but has a grayish tone, though still dark. Can you darken that some more, to keep it in line with the leaper? - Ro

This is really a dramatic image in a beautiful location. I like the joyful quality, too. Very nice. Bev

What I really, really like about this image is the way it is in keeping with the petroglyphs found in the southwest. This similarity (even if it's only fanciful in my mind) makes the image resonate, linking ancient past and contemporary look. Other things to like include the color and, to a lesser extent, the overall composition. I'm less in love with the shadow "frame," but you can't really crop it out without killing the picture, so I guess it's part of a very fine whole. Eric Hatch

Mark, this is a beautiful image! What a dramatic place for such a photograph. I only wish I were there to witness this in person but... thanks to you, I can imagine myself standing right there at the moment :-) Mark J
