Pacifica Pier, Pacifica, Ca

The waves were up, the wind was up, creating these incredible "veils" on the waves. Taken just around sunset. Looking north toward San Francisco. New camera only my second day with it. It's like my mom's 707 but small and compact like the S70.

Beautiful capture and definitely a winner anywhere. I tried to take wave shots while in the water in Kauai last summer and know it is hard to capture it right on like you did. Of course your waves were a lot higher than mine so you couldn't stand in them. Mine were only like three to five feet high. This looks like at least ten feet high.
