This is an excellent shot. So hard to capture the different color tones and shine in their plumage. I like the very special treatment of a very common bird.

The texture of the plumage is captured in great detail, not an easy job with such a dark colored bird. nicely done and very sharp looking photo.

Very nice lighting, color, and clear detail here, Jesper. The Starling is a very common "pest" bird where I live..but your capture certainly brings out the bird's true beauty. I like how it's perched among the branches...nice DOF too. Nice shot, Jesper! MFC
