David, it's not violent. The cold blueish fork here just to create contrast to warm red tomato. The violence is reported in exhibition, see my picture "rated R" there :)

Very nice, nice color and lighting/contrast, composition and idea.....but so much violence.....WHY?

amazing detail. What unusual lighting, wouldn't have thought of using a sunset to light a tomato. nice! CindyD

Poor little guy looks like he is really sweating it out...love the idea, compostion and execution. Excellent! (debadguy)

Very rich rich color. Would have preferred a slightly different fork angle to show some reflection too. Otherwise, its a great composition - ZipperZ

It is natural light. the picture was taken just before sunset. I have another picture of that unfortunate tomato taken same time that I posted in exhibition. It shows more detail on lighting.

Great shot! I feel the tomato's pain!
Are the gold water highlights from natural light, or did you "kick it up a notch"?

Very nice. The fork and the water dropplets really set this photo up. Nice rich red too. - Shay

I really like this one, especially how the water droplets look gold because of the light. SarahD

Thank you for your comment! I didn't post the full size as I think it looks better in smaller size :) upsidedown

POW! Here's another one for top points! I'd really like to see the full-size original. I'll come back just to see if anyone has comments on how to improve it, because I can't think of any.
