The lack of a mirror drove me to this narcistic point of view with the support of the self timer. Still I am wondering whether the self timer is very egocentric too ...

Hi Franky. I like everything about this picture ... exposure throughout and the way in which your strong good looks based not just on bone structure but character and the posture you have chosen anchors together a scene which includes a lot of elements. Cropping into the screen would have removed that challenge but would have lost the entire world in which your self portrait so powerfully places you. It is among the most authoritative self prtraits I have seen and has what I call the 'depth' which makes it a reflection rather than a mirror-mugshot. Best wishes
