I like the simplicity in this composition and I think B&W will strenghten that simplicity as well as the nostalgy of the scene. The original image was very noisy (H5's ISO 200), and I got rid of some of it with "Neat Image", and added a litle after that in PS. I made the conversion to B&W in PS with customized adjustments. Used shadow/highlights and levels for controlling tones. Added some local contrast and sharpness with unsharp mask and, finally, worked a lot dodge/burn for bringing attention to the subjetcs and eliminate distractive information.
