Not often that Jim and I disagree, but I think the color makes this. It's an abstract with blurred forms....while often this works very well in B and W the colors in this are so crucial to its considerable impact that I'm not a bit surprised that trying BW didn't work. This is a great image. Fremiet

Thanks for the sugestion Jim... I tried and I didn't like the results. If you wish I could provide you with the original to try, I'm sure you have it better in your mind. We could share then the laurels together :-).

Hey Poss, although morbid, this is a GREAT idea. There are two things that I would do differently to make this image really fit the title and perspective. First, I'd have the composition looking a little crooked at the tracks without so much of the right side of the image. Then I'd convert it to b/w to really give a more desperate look. Short of a reshoot, you could still make this much colder with a blue cast or b/w. Again, it's a great idea, and could be a very powerful image if it looked a little more "desperate".
