JP and Glyn: thanks for the comments. Glyn: I recongize that this is not an enjoyable image.I chose the title "Forgotten lifes" because this was I felt about these people. I had a different thought about turnning the picture to black and white: I prefered to desature people, I mean things have atractive colors in this image but people looks washed. In my opinion this difference is expressing something, and Inframan put it in words very well.

A great shot, Daniel, really conveying in spades the total & universal human condition represented in this room. I mean, I can even smell the place. & kudos for seeing & capturing so many invaluable little visual details.

You've upset me with this picture. That massive blown highlight at the window makes me even more upset. Well done. Very well done. That blown window light is a poison-cherry on the top of horror pie. There is no dignity. There is no mercy. Jesus, precisly balancing the picture, has got his work cut out and is the only one making eye-contact with living beings. He is balanced in the distant-to-close line by the man ... oh ... he's the only one NOT looking down ... hooray ... on .. NOT hooray ... it's not even honest mixed martial arts. It's shammy wresttling.
To me, ths is a masterpeice. I wonder what it would look like in black and white..
