Jill, you really have a talent for photographing food! I love all your images, but I think this is my favorite, with the red/black contrast throughout and the striking composition. Nice work!

Absolutely delightful, Jill!! Black BG compliments the red so well. I'm wondering how it would look without the red plate. A most excellent still life!!

Hi Jill ... this is so amazingly compelling. This is so alive and here-and-now. It is all red, black, green, silver and shine .. and clean ... and the 'GRABBER' for me, is that spoon .... it's in the classic visual 'lead the eye into the picture' position ... and also the touchable 'grab me' position. Double Whammy. Pulled me physically into the picture. :)

I like your delight better than my delights. Black and red go very well together in this tasty composition. I like the other little touches too. Excellent still life.
