Thanks, Hedgehog! This photo is uncropped and unedited except for a bit of sharpening, so what you see here is actually what happened. The two ducks in front were quacking away noisily and as I saw this scene unfolding, my heart sped up as I hoped I would be able to catch the moment. The little duck trailing behind looked a bit forlorn, like he wanted to be accepted and included, but the other two completely ignored him as he tagged along behind them. I only hope he eventually turns out 10 times prettier than those two! ~ Nee

I think this is an awesome moment. To nit-pick technicals here would basically miss the point. I really like this shot.

Thanks, Ken...that's exactly what I thought about it, too! This is one of those rare moments you feel very lucky to catch on *film*! May not have the best *reflection*, but I sure like the emotional *feel* of it ~Nee (rdavis)
