Welcome to Challenge “170” The theme for this challenge will take you back to the early masters of film photography that occurred during the 30s and 40s. Our theme will be “FILM NOIR”

So break out those old film classics like “The third man” and “The big Sleep”, and “Casablanca” and all the early Hitchcock and Ford films and start squinting your eyes to catch all the nuances of shadow and light.

Let’s see things like the getaway car, the gat, the moll, the hideout, and the lonely streetlight next to the alley, the blonde in the trench coat, and all the other scenes that made up that world of mystery during the Hollywood heydays. For all you black and white lovers this challenge should be a dream but it is not restricted to black and white. Color shots are welcome. See you in the funny papers.
