Way to bring these photos into our new millennium. Looks like late summer, how long had he been there? Nancy says he was there when Amy was born in early October. Good job!

These are really great. I can,t remember the name of the man who climbed with your Father but the other two didn,t make it to the top. I also don.t remember whether itwas sunrise or set (you will be able to figure that out) but that lake was on the side of Mt. Fuji as they climbed Nancy mentioned a couple and a little boy in Hawaii. I haven,t seen them yet but they were Alex and Colleen Roth who lived in the apartment where we were in Ann Arbor when Barbara was born. He was finishing his medical degree and then went to Honolulu to work for Kaiser. The little boy grew up and went to Canada to avoid the Vietnamese War. I haven,t heard from those people for years. Keep up the editing - hewas not a bad photographer either, was he ? More boxes available! hahaha!

Yep, most of these will be on or around Mount Fuji, about an hour away from Tokyo. As a volcano, it hasn't done anything since the early 1700's.
