This seventeen-acre boulder field is in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Very unusual geologically, it is perfectly flat and is surrounded by mixed pine and deciduous forest. Walking up to the edge feels like visiting a lake...except you can keep right on walking out into the middle, hopping from boulder to boulder.
