Red-shouldered Hawk

This is the first of a four shot series. This hawk was looking for his next meal when some other bird, I didn’t see it, bumped him from behind. Shot #2 shows his initial reaction. In shot #3 he has decided I’m to blame. In shot #4 he’s diving on me. I, of course, was oblivious to my danger. I had my finger on the shutter release and was tracking as fast as I could. Not fast enough as you can tell, shot #4 is way out of focus. He veered off right after the last shot. Shots 1, 2, & 3 are cropped a little. Shot 4 is full frame.
