This gallery chronicles the drive when I moved from northern Virginia to Sacramento. My wife at the time took most of the shots. She had such fun that she got her own digital camera. The drive is described in the Journal gallery. The pictures have captions but most just state the obvious. I got pretty tired of writing captions. Things will get a little monotonous by the time you get to the end but it will give you a feel for how we felt after eight days on the road.
