Carson Pass to Winnemucca Lake (wildflowers)

Carson Pass is named for the famous Kit Carson who discovered the pass when leading the John Fremont expedition across the Sierra Nevada in 1844. It is just a few miles south and west of Lake Tahoe. At 9000 feet in altitude the going can be a little slow. The out-back hike to Winnemucca Lake is 4 miles total with an altitude gain of 450 feet. The area is known for wildflowers but I missed the peak by a week. I still got some good shots. I know nothing about wildflowers so I'm going to ask for help in identifying them.
