Sylvan Heights Bird Park

Located near Scotland Neck in northeastern North Carolina, this park is an internationally-known organization that has done much to further waterfowl breeding programs. There are lots of other bird species in addition to waterfowl. Check out the web site at http://www.shwpark.com.

Lynne and I visited on 12/26. I have identified the species I either know or could find on the park's web site. Others, I just comment on why I found them interesting. We will go back... there are MANY more species than what I have shown here. By the way, an NC Zoo membership gets you into the park for free.
