Young porcupine

I found this young animal meandering along the roadside snacking on young plants. In an attempt to prevent him from becoming yet another display of Nova Scotia's flattened fauna I pulled over to hustle it off the road. His first response was to ignore me so I took the opportunity to take some photos.

Great photo of a very cute animal. It is so sad that they are most often seen flattened on the road rather than in their natural state. Good for you for trying to save the precious little guy.

What a cute little thing, glad you saved him and I hope that he's learned good road safety!
