Status in Oklahoma: Permanent resident in the Black Mesa region of Cimarron County. Irregular fall and winter visitor to the western Panhandle counties (mostly Cimarron). Usually uncommon but can be quite numerous in some irruption years such as this. Accidental visitor in the eastern Panhandle, northwestern, and southwestern portions of the state.
