Status of Sanderling in Oklahoma in winter: ACCIDENTAL

Possibly only the second winter record for the state. The first being one found on the 2014 Salt Plains CBC http://www.pbase.com/image/158681613.

Normal late departure date in Alfalfa County is Oct. 19.

Status of Western Sandpiper in Oklahoma (Alfalfa County) in winter: RARE to CASUAL

Normal late departure date is Oct. 10
