Happisburgh

This is not a new photo, but having reprocessed it into monochrome I've decided
that I like it enough to upload. Incidentally, I've noticed recently that I've
been favouring central horizons, thereby breaking the 'rules' of composition -
sometimes it just seems better that way!

I am in this frame of mind a bit for landscape these days, that's why I like this one a lot! V.

Such a simple composition but such a stunning result. Thr reflections look like they are from a mirror. Congratulations V

I like the symmetry Steve. I find central compositions great for minimalist graphic shots like this but not so good for general scenic photography. Nicely done!! BV

love it!

Indeed, the monochrome works well here with the strong lines and contrats. I also like the central horizon here-- it really complements the fundamental symmetry (or near symmetry, which is more interesting!) of the shot. V.

Superbly done. Love the contrast diferences in reflection to beyond the fence. The ever so slight touch of blue is outstanding. Good eye. V

This works really well in B & W, and I agree about the central horizon. What are rules made for anyway?!!
