An Atlantic Grey Seal pup on a Norfolk beach. These fellas take over a stretch of
beach for a couple of months every winter and are quite a sight (and sound!).

Nice that you could come so close! Are those pups alone or are the mothers in the area? In Holland most pups come ashore with longworms and other diseases and they are cared in a sealshelter for some months. When they have gained weight and are healthy again, they are brought back to the sealcolonies.
