This is a texturised version of an old favorite, this one... http://www.pbase.com/steve_sharp/image/58670558

Actually, to be honest, I don't like my earlier version anymore, I can't work out
what I was thinking, it must have seemed right at the time though. I'm leaving it
up though because it is one of my most popular images, view count-wise.

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel

This is my favourite Steve - full of drama!!BV

They both stand on their own merit, Steve - I like this one because I love your art and the tactile way you approach a scene, and I like the original because of its colour contrasts and slight cyan toning. But (again!) Milos is absolutely bang on the money for me!! V

It is so interesting how our own taste changes it time, as well as what we tend to express. What looks as ultimate photo in one moment, in the next it is below our own standards. I guess it is the best representation of our own personal development and growth in the means of artistic expression and our own feeling and understanding about what beautiful really is. There is never a final answer but the search is what we live for.
Superb work Steve, this one is surely one of mine (yours) all time favs. But ask me again in a couple of months when you upload some more... :)

I agree with Beverley, I think the effects of light in the original is terrific. I like this one too :-)

I thought lonely and isolation - great work! BV

Both are wonderful. The original looks retro-ish due to the colour tones.
This one is much different and has a more intensity to it.
-V- on both!

Both work really well in their own right. Out of the two I prefer this one. +V
