Waxham

Waxham marshes. This is the reason I love Norfolk so much.

ps this area could well be underwater within a generation, having been left defenceless to the
sea as a sacrifical area to protect other places deemed more important (i.e. London). Not sure
they've got their priorities right there.

Pure magic, then that sobering description. Photography at its best.

Super B&W with subtleness and strength across the mist. BZ-V!

Nice shot! Interesting isn't it, that when the crunch comes, beauty, and fauna habitat really have no meaning ..... I certainly hope that this doesn't happen here.

Well Settler took the words out of my mouth! Full of mood with good tonal values and strong lead into the evening mist. Would be a shame too loose such an area +V

I cannot believe that they would give this up in favour of urban sprawl. Clearly a case of misplaced priorities.
settler09-Mar-2009 08:58
I agree with you about the need to submerge certain parts of London. Fine SHOT!...V!

This is so lovely. Priorities are often askew and the mistake not recognised until it is impossible to rectify. Let us hope that nature deals kindly with the area.
