I painted this for the Margaret Harvey Open in December which is why it is the size it is. Despite its small size it took me over six weeks to paint. It is actually based on a photograph of berries from Old Garden Court although in working the image it has partially lost that connection and is more abstract than organic. It is my most detailed work to date.
