Thanks Stephen, for showing some egyptian art that i had not seen in books. Especially the several slaughtering of cows. Cows were Sacred to the Goddess and when Amun rose as single diety rather than the previous 3000 years prior of both Goddess and her consort God, the Sacred Cow Goddess being slaughtered was one of the images connected with the destruction of the yin or feminine equality in cultures. I feel very much reminded of my own trip to egypt and israel by bycicle in December 88/ January 89 - I made more than 600 slides but yours seem to be all better!!
