The images were taken with the Minolta D7 during my 11 day vacation (May-June, 2002) in Utah & Arizona, USA . This vacation mainly covered the "Four Corners" area. This trip also covered an interesting park in southern Alberta, Canada.

Hi Stephen, saw your site from a post on dpreview.com. Easily the best personal album I have seen. I suspect your pictures would have been good with any camera but its good to see someone pull the best out of the D7 and an inspiration to those of us who are still learning on the D7i.

Wonderful Stephen, as usual. How come your camera takes better pictures than mine ;) BTW I would like to know more about how you took this series. Did you use your two image technique on any, Did you have a polarizer on?, Did you shoot in RAW or JPEG? Maaybe you could post some of the answers in your thread at Bryan's Place.
Stephen -- I stand, as always, in awe of your ability to find the picture in the scene, and your command of the language of light. Your Upper Antelope Canyon shots are every bit as beautiful as the ones you took using MF on your previous visit, to my eye, and you found pictures in the so-familiar Arches and Monument Valley that I have never seen before, which is one of the reasons why I remain your non-slavish photographic devotee.
