John's school had a float in the parade, so we joined in the fun. Having lived in Katy for 9+ years, this was our first Rodeo Parade. Who knew what we were missing? It was really a lot of fun, even with the driving rain at times. The best part is seeing all the folks lined up along the parade route. It was awesome to see so many American flags waving and people smiling and kids dressed up and catching candy and braving the bad weather...just all those things. Like they always say "Who doesn't love a parade?"
