I like to call it Independence Day instead of July 4th. Partly because there's a certain someone who is driven insane by this, and partly because really, we're not celebrating "The Fourth of July". That's just the date. What we are celebrating is Independence. =)

I just love this holiday. The neighbors were out in full force, underscoring my desire to stay in my house forever and ever and ever and never move ever. Thank you, everyone, for making the day so special for all of us!!
