Dec 31 - Album's done! I finished up first thing in the morning on the 26th. This is my second year doing it and I really, really like the layout of those template pages. It makes thing easier...I know that I will have a roughly 5x6 spot to fill on each page, and can use the strip at the bottom for either words or a strip of paper. I kept up well, I think there were a few days around the 23rd that I had to go back and fill in, but everything else was done that day. If you've never done this project, I highly recommend it! =)



Nov 16 - Just getting started putting the album and base pages together. Created my own four-pocket page protector out of the 6 x 8.5 American Crafts page protectors that came with the December Daily Studio Calico add-on kit. I just couldn't see cutting up all my We Are Memory Keepers 8 1/2 x 11 page protectors that were the baseball card sized ones. So I made my own, lol! The pockets are not the same size as the WAMK ones, but they will do! I am not using the 6 x 8.5 ones to put my base pages in because the kit only came with 25. I know I will need more than that so I just decided to use them alone, but sewed into pockets. :)
