During my visit to Thailand in early 2010 I had the pleasure of meeting three species of pheasants. Two of them vere reasonably cooperative.
The Siamese Fireback initially were hard to find. However when they came out, they were not at all shy. In Sakaerat Biosphere Reserve they even preformed drumwhirls with their wings about one meter in fron of us, as if they were trying to tell us to leave.
