M42 Great Nebula in Orion

El Cerrito, CA

This wide field M42 is a work in process. Compare it to the M42

SBIG STL 11000, STV guider, Takahashi FSQ 106ED, EM 200 Temma 2 mount
Thirteen 15-minute exposures (3.25 hours total) through Baader 7nm
Hydrogen Alpha filter. Bright core Trapezium area imaged with
eight 15 second exposures and layered into main image using
Photoshop layers. CCD temp -38C, FWHM 1.6 full exif

FANTASTIC IMAGE.......incredible exposure, and its got a brilliant amount of detail in original size.....outstanding photography.
