very high and tight

This pic is of Ted's 242T. I'm using it to show just how well Ferrita engineered the 3in system to fit up so high and tight.

The right side crash guard [which helps protect the fuel tank from being crushed by transmitting impact energy to the rear axle and suspension] HAS to be removed and trimmed, in order for the underaxle pipe to "get up there". Some just remove the crash guard and discard it. No thanks. I LIKE the extra protection the crash guards provide. This one has not been reinforced after the trimming up; but will be reinforced when we rework the overall install more like what I have done on the Streak.

The Ferrita muffler uses the stock muffler mounting points and rubber hangers. Doing it that way helps keep the muffler up high.

To improve the axle clearance, I determined that I would have to lower the muffler a bit. My first design did that too well.
